This is exactly what the label states, extremely gentle and calming.

What it does:
This gentle, soap-free facial cleanser has been specifically formulated to address the particular skincare needs of sensitive skin. Usage Direction:

Review:
This is a foamless cleanser, so it might take awhile to get use to. It does in fact cleanse (even without the foam) very well without skin feeling tight or dry yet have the refreshing feeling of very clean skin. The semi creamy gel texture actually moisture the face without very greasiness.
Usually I will use this in the morning when my skin is most sensitive. Good for calming skin irritation.
1 point to note, this alone will not be sufficient to clean off make-up though.


On my sensitive skin: Able to calm my easily irritated skin.


Verdict:
Most likely will repurchase to calm my sensitive and easily irritable skin.

CHANEL UV ESSENTIEL SPF 50

Its probably the only sunblock that my face can adapt without clogging my pores or causing any outbreak.

What does it do:

Skin’s guardian angel provides invisible daily protection against environmental aggressors. A free-radical and anti-pollution shield with a Vitamin E derivative and plant extracts empowers this oil-free, lightweight formula to safeguard skin against environmental pollutants.

Licorice Root Extract and a highly effective combination of UVA and UVB filters help diminish and prevent the appearance of dark spots and signs of premature aging.

Review:

Been on this for 5-6 months now. Could feel a little greasy on skin initially, but after blending and settling it with or without make-up. It actually feels quite light and grease-free.

No instant results; only glad it doesn't causes outbreak like what other sunscreen does to me.

Combing this with Chanel whitening essence (will provide review separately), my skin turns 1 shade fairer in 5-6 months time (i know because i got to change a foundation shade).

Brown spots/ freckles are still there but glad to say they does become noticeably lighter and less obvious.

Friends who hasn't seen me for a while all commented that I look fairer than before.

Not sure if this is working or could it be due to the whitening essence /mask i have been using religiously. But as i do get older, I know how important sunscreen is for "aging" skin!

Price considered steep, but not so compared to any other counter brands. As long as it serve its purpose well and doesn't clog my pores I'll go for it.

Will repurchase this product again, currently starting on the 2nd tube.

As i continue my search for another sunscreen, i think this is the one that i will keep coming back to if all fails.

CHANEL MOUSSE EXFOLIANTE PURETE

This is the 1st item I've use from Chanel and it got me hooked; fall head over heels with this brand.

Last August 2009, when i just started on this brand i can say i was having terrible skin (badly blemish, clogged & dull skin).

Not that I have achieve perfect skin but its considerably better compared to my skin when I was 15 (14 years ago; chickenpox is my name!)

What does it do:

A luxuriously lightweight mousse-based cleansing foam for combination-to-oily skin with the de-polluting power of Tulip Tree Extract and the astringent properties of Meadowsweet Extract. Helps eliminate excess sebum and control surface oils with gentle cleansing action, to leave skin feeling fresh, clean and matte. Jojoba beads eliminate dead cells, and provide deep pore cleansing, revealing a new suppleness and a naturally healthy glow.

Review:

Note- 1 year ago, my skin type was oily skin transiting to combination skin.

During initial uses, I realize my face give a squeaking sound while rinsing. Face felt really clean, and despite the squeaking sound, it doesn't feel tight or dry.

After 3-4 months, noticed reduction in blackheads and clogged pores perhaps it keeps pores really clean! Less outbreaks from clogged pores, and this is the best results i observed.

After 12 months daily usage (once/twice daily), I am still using the same tube.

At this moment, my is considered combination skin, so this range could be a little drying for me now which can be easily fixed using a moisturizer.

However I will love to try the comforting range now.

I have recommended this brand of cleanser to many people, be it different range, everyone has got good reviews for it and went back to purchase full size after trying sample. It just shows how good this is.

We all are looking forward to face cleansing time now.. LOL

Verdict:

Will repurchase this product again but the one in pink instead as its more hydrating and comforting for my skin.

SKINFOOD GINSENG MASK

Skinfood had just launch a new series of wash off mask with yummy delectable flavors.

I had sensitive skins, therefore the kind SA actually give me samples

(Ginseng & Acai Berry) to try out.

Decided to try out Ginseng for tonight!!

What does it do:

Ginseng Mask can rejuvenate dull-looking skin into a more radiant glow, achieve supple skin by stimulating the synthesis of collagen and also prolong aging of skin. This Ginseng Mask has a texture of massage gel with white ginseng powder that acts as a mild exfoliant to reveal a clearer skin.

Review:

Massage as per instructions, there is no adverse reaction on my face. Continue to leave on for 5 mins before washing off. Smell of Ginseng could be overwhelming at first, but as I massage, the smells starts to wear off.

After awhile, the Ginseng smells actually make feel "rejuvenated".

Instant result -> 1.Skin feels smooth and softer to touch. 2.Skin feels slightly supple and hydrated.

I did not notice instant glow or any clearer effect as promised however its only a one time application after all.

Perhaps will need frequent application to see results.

On my sensitive skin ->No adverse reaction

Verdict:

I should be buying this to rejuvenate my tired skin, but I have 1 more Acai Berry mask to try before i make my decision.
